Google Banned 26 Android Apps: More than two dozen apps have been accused of silently withdrawing money from a customer's bank account. Not only that. Those apps are again harming the computer in such a way that the customer can face big problems at any time. Recently, a security firm has identified 26 such apps. And then Google removed those apps from the Play Store and all of the company's platforms.

The name of the security firm that identified these 26 dangerous apps is Zimperium. Of the 26 apps that have been the subject of serious complaints, 10 are highly popular apps and customers use them on a daily basis. The list includes, Handy Translator Pro, Heart Rate and Pulse Tracker, Geospot: GPS Location Tracker, iCare - Find Location, My Chat Translator, Bus - Metrolis 2021, Free Translator Photo, Locker Tool, Fingerprint Changer, Call Recoder Pro - etc. Apps.

However, despite the banning of these apps by Google, Android users still have no recourse. Because, even if Google bans, the apps will remain on the phones of Android users. These apps have already caused multiple losses to customers' phone accounts and bank accounts. The only solution is to find the apps as soon as possible and uninstall them from your smartphone. Also, if you realize that there is a possibility of hacking into the phone, Then Android customers have to fight with those hackers and understand that it is because of these apps that your phone has been hacked.

A security lab called Zimperium zLabs was the first to detect these apps. There have been multiple complaints against these apps over the past few days. After that, the security researchers of Zimperium zLabs identified the apps and tested them to verify the allegations. Researchers at the company claim that a malicious campaign is running these apps on the customer's phone, called Grifthorse Android Trojan. This malware actually acts as a Trojan by hiding in all these Android apps.

Zimperium zLabs security researchers say, "With the help of tricks such as misinformation, small screens and local trust, all these Android Trojans have been forcibly downloaded to the customer's phone in the wake of this malicious campaign." Customers were also given a bait of prizes by downloading the app. And then out of a kind of greed, customers have downloaded apps to keep the notification screen running.
